Returns Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, you can notify us by email at sales@alliedspares.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you.

Where goods have already been dispatched, the customer may only return products to UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.), and receive a refund or credit, under the following conditions:

  • The customer may only return the product to UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.) for a refund or credit with prior consent from UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.).

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of the date of delivery. Refund processing time is 3 days.

  • After 14 days, a 20% restocking charge will apply.

  • Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, and in a condition suitable for immediate resale.

    • If you opened the box to examine the product, you must have done so without damaging or marking the product, packaging, or seals.

    • If the product was sealed, the seal must NOT be broken.

    • The product must not have been used or installed, and spare parts must remain unfitted.

    • All original packaging and accessories must be returned. Any free gifts received must also be returned.

We will not accept returns for suspected faulty parts without details of the Gas Safe Registered Engineer performing the work.

The customer must include a copy of the invoice or delivery note with the return.

Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer. Carriage costs will NOT be refunded.

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products within 14 days of delivery and exchanges within the same period. Customers may return items by mail or in-store. Return labels are the customer’s responsibility. No restocking fee will apply for returns made within 14 days.

⚠️ Please note: Any parts removed from sealed packaging are considered fitted and are not returnable.

To return a faulty part within the warranty period, we require:

  • A written report from a Gas Safe Registered Engineer explaining the fault

  • The faulty part returned
    This allows us to submit your claim to the manufacturer for inspection and potential replacement or refund.

If a faulty part is replaced by purchasing from a different supplier, UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.) still requires:

  • A written report from a Gas Safe Registered Engineer

  • A copy of the invoice for the replacement part purchased from another supplier

All faulty returns will be tested by the manufacturer. (Details of the competent Gas Safe Registered engineer are required in all cases.)

  • If the manufacturer confirms the part is faulty, UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.) will refund 100% of the part’s original value.

  • If the manufacturer deems the part was damaged by another component or user error, no refund will be issued, and testing/carriage charges will apply.

  • If the part is found not to be faulty, it will be returned to you, and carriage/testing charges will apply.


The right to return goods does not apply in the following cases:

i. If the product has been used or fitted
ii. If the seals have been broken or tampered with (e.g., gas valves or PCBs)
iii. If the product or its packaging is not in original condition

❌ Do not write directly on product boxes.

Exclusions:
Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), components with PCBs, gas valves, non-catalog items, and special order products are non-refundable.

If products are returned outside the above terms (e.g., after 14 days or in an unfit condition), UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.) may:

  • Refuse delivery

  • Apply a restocking charge (minimum 25% of invoice value and a minimum £5.00 fee)

All returns must be sent freight prepaid and are returned at the customer’s risk.
UK Central Heating (Allied Plumbing & Heating Ltd.) is not responsible for any damage or loss during return transit. Please package items securely.

Some parts are dispatched directly from our suppliers. In these cases, we may request you return the item directly to the supplier. Refunds will still be handled by us.

Please consult the manufacturer before ordering if you are unsure of the fault, and confirm compatibility before removing packaging.

ALL GAS-CARRYING PARTS MUST BE FITTED BY A GAS SAFE REGISTERED ENGINEER.
